Steve Dreano's
1975 Pontiac LeMans GT
Steve Dreano tells us...
"
This is my 1975 Lemans GT. My oldest brother bought it with around
10,000 miles on, as far as he can remember. The color is called lake mist
green. This has been a very good car for the whole family, from my
brother to my mom and to me.

Me being a mechanic and a gear head you know I
can not leave well enough alone. The factory 350 4bl which still runs
excellent at 186,000 {and still run 5.0 stangs all day long w/ the a/c
on} is giving way to a .060 400 W/ sealed power teflon coated forged
pistons, ss h-beam rods, forged steel crank, gear drive, crane cam &
lifters, melling high pressure pump, edelbrock rpm manifold & 750 carb, cast
#64 heads that have 2.11 & 1.77 ss valves, bronze guides, hardened
seats, comp engineering, springs, titanium retainers and 10 degree locks,
hooker super comps and 2 1\2 exhaust w/ flow masters.

As for the
suspension, a full poly-graphite rebuild kit front & rear, new springs all
around, 3:23 posi, boxed upper & lower arms w/ diamond plate steel & angle
iron, 1 inch sway bar in back & 1 1/4 in front.

Wheels for now will be
10" crager s\s and 295 50 15 in back and 255 60 15 in front and I also
up graded the rear brakes from 9 1/2 to 11".

So if you are ever in the
state of Norfolk, Virginia and you see a green 1975 Lemans GT w/ plates
that read 1LILIND {one little indian}, tell the stangs and the imports
that this PONTIAC ROCKS and is full of EXCITEMENT!

It should be done in
around 2 months I will keep you posted. "
