" I have attached a few pictures of my '74 Lemans. The car has been in the family its entire life (it used to be my Mom's car). I havebeen upgrading it for the last ten years, and I have almost taken it as far as I can without tearing it up.
It has a 462 cid Pontiac, 455crank ground to 3" main bearings with a 400 block bored .070 over. It is also equipped with an Edelbrock Victor intake andaluminum heads, Demon 1000 CFM carb, Competition Cams mechanical roller cam, JE pistons (14:1), BME aluminum rods, 4 boltcaps, lifter bore braces, Hooker Super Comps with 4" Flowmaster exhaust (to rear axle), TH350 with 9" Coan convertor and TCImanual valve body (built by JPT Transmissions), complete MSD ignition, 3:90 gear with Eaton posi and Strange Axles & C-clipeliminators, and a host of other modifications.
The car has full interior (including back seat and original AM radio), and it weighs3950 with me in it. I have only five runs on this motor (finished late this summer) and it has gone 10.90's on the motor with no tuningperformed yet.
I anticipate 9.60's with a 250 HP shot of nitrous once I get it tuned and where I want it on the motor only. By theway, the picture next to the Corvette is on the Woodward Dream Cruise.
