I love the site,I have a 74 Grand Am. The only problem I have, is the guys that think they know all there is to know about Grand Ams argue that it's not an original car. This is because it has the opera window option

(WEBMASTER NOTE FROM PETE * I've seen 3 or 4 of these cars over the years. They do exist).

The car was built in late 1974 and was a 400 car. It now has a 40 over 455 w/400 turbo tranny, reworked neck snapping shifts, 3.73 posi rearend, runs 13's in the quarter. I haven't run it with slicks yet and the car dyno tested 324.3 HP at the rear wheels so it could use help hooking up.

I'm going to change the cam, intake and install a set of 4 tube headers. I'm hoping to get this leadsled into the mid 12s at The Pontiac Nats at Norwalk Oh.
