Rob Tabish of Missoula, Montana's
1974 Buick Century

Rob Tabish tells us...

" I though I might send in some Buick pictures since you seem to mostly have Pontiacs.

I bought this car a couple of months ago for $500, mostly as a parts donor for my '67 Buick special. this 74 Century has a 350, new 18,000 miles ago. A rebuilt tranny, and stock Buick Road Wheels.

I actually ended up liking this car enough to keep it and fix it up too. Besides, i still want to get a 455 for the '67 anyway. To date I have put new shocks on it, new 15 x 60 series tires, detailed out the engine compartment and tuned it up. I am going to get dual exhaust, and some cragar S/S's. Also, I have found the stock 4bbl and manifold and scored some chrome off of ebay fairly cheap. am still looking for a good aluminum intake but T/A performance seems to be the only ones making a manifold for 350 buicks. the search goes on!

She needs a paint job and some interior TLC but there is not much rust and the rest of the car seems fine so far. I am the third owner and expect to get more pictures of the changes I do to it over the winter with the hope of having it ready for next season's car shows along with the '67 (I have a lot of work ahead of me!).
