" The first car i drove was a white 73 Pontiac LeMans back in 1978. I got ridof the car in 1985 and to this day i wish i never would have. Well now thatim older (almost 40), have a real job, wife, house, dogs (No kids) - it wastime to find a 70's car for fun and pleasure.
I have been looking casuallyfor about 9 months with nothing really saying "I must have this car" -Untill last month - i was in a popular search engine and typed in "1973Pontiac LeMans For Sale" and well I found her. A White 73 LeMans Sport -with 39k miles on her - and the car was loacted 15 miles from where i livein Pittsburgh, PA.
This car was garage kept and was rust-proofed. Not asingle original piece of the car was missing (has original wiper bladeinsert holders).
Its a V-8 350, automatic,ps,No A/c,No PB. So far i have replaced the carpetwith 80/20 loop from Ames Performance (seats,dash,panels are mint),repainted the interior trunk space with paint from Eastwood's, and cleanedand painted the entire engine/compartment, new hoses/vacume lines/tune up.
Very near future plans are to blast the wheels and repaint them, and get newshocks/springs - I hope to have this done by the end of February.
