" I bought the car seven years ago for $300.00 and it was a Luxury LeMans with bench seat and air it still has the original engine and trans 350/350 combo with 3.23 gears. the gears will be changed soon and a posi unit will be installed.The engine has been rebuilt and bored .30 over.
I have put bucket seats a B&M Z-gate floorshifter in the car and I have raced it with a best time of 15.60 at 89.82 mph it's not that fast but it's fun to drive.
Just two months ago I took the heads off and gasket matched all the ports on them and also did the intake with mild porting on both the heads and intake.(man cast iron takes along time to do). with it all done and back together I am hoping that it will run in the 14.90's if not it will get a bottle of NOS.
I am going to repaint it a solid color this time around but do not know what color to paint so if anyone can help me decide what color to paint it please fell free to email me your suggestions..........Mark "
