" Hello....really, really enjoy this web site featuring the much-maligned 73-77 A-bodies. WE like-'em, DAMNIT! Anyway, saw your oh-so-nice 73 LeMans in Slate Green. I too purchased a similiar LeMans back in Nov. '96. It is a Sport Coupe; white buckets; 350 2bbl 77,000 miles.
It had been originally owned by an elderly gentleman in Texas. Then a USAF Major purchased it as a driver. I bought it from the Major while living in Florida. It is presently having the top half of the engine rebuilt; next year the as-yet original (but dead) paint will be stripped and replaced.
I can do nothing to it, as I'm writing to you from Iceland (here with the USAF). I see this this car once a year on my annual trek back to my home state of Pennsylvania, where it is stored.
