Bruce Middlemass'
1973 GTO

Here's Bruce Middlemass' 1973 Pontiac GTO.

Bruce says

" After selling my 75 Grand Am, with all the NOS and used parts needed torestore it correctly, I found myself with an open parking spot and neededsomething to fill it. Actually, I just like having a bunch of A-bodiesaround!

So..............I went out and bought this 1973 GTO.

It was sold new at Cardinal Pontiac in Port Chester, NY. I have all thedocuments from the dealership and all the receipts for any repairs that were ever done to the car since November 1972.

Price of car as optioned, withtax, was $4,450.45. A 68 Buick Skylark GS got $1,383 as a trade-in.Payments were $97.00 a month through GMAC. The car is basically a stripper.

Beyond the wheel-well mouldings and door edge guards, the only other stuffit's got is a AM/FM radio and a 3.42 posi. No air, no power, no nothing. The car has been repainted once, and currently shows 30,402 miles.

Theprevious owner (I am the 3rd) installed 1968 #16 heads, Edelbrock intake and carb, with an MSD ignition box and distributor. He gave me all the originalparts with the car.

Car runs really strong as it is on a 50/50 blend of 110 octane leaded and 94 unleaded, but I have other plans for this one....

Thanks again Pete. I'll send you more pictures of my collection when I can.

Signed, Bruce Middlemass

P.S. Pete, I believe one of my 3 other 73 GTO's is one of the twelve 4-speedsport coupes assembled in Canada. VIN #2F37T31531076.

This is a Burma Brown car with Saddle interior, most options except power windows and locks. Sold new at Turnpike Motors, Westport, CT. "
