James Fairchild's 1973 Pontiac Grand Am.James tells us...
" Hello, Attached are a couple pictures of my first 1973 Grand am. The carwas purchased back in July of 1984. It is your basic GA, 400, 4bbl, 400trans. It had 87,000 miles on it at the time. It was green withblack and lime stripes when I purchased it.
It's first few years with mewere a little rough. My brother borrowed it and his girlfriend backedher car into the passenger door, so I had to replace a door skin. Thenan "EX" - girlfriend of mine decided to turn the top into a giant bird bathby jumping up and down on the roof. So I had to hunt down a roof from a73 LeMans sport coupe and replace THAT!
Since then the car has led asheltered life. I am currently restoring my second 73 GA, I will sendpictures as I go.
