1974 Pontiac "All-American"
(photo text)
Appearing in U.S. auto shows during 1974 was a special "All-American" Grand Am Hardtop Coupe. It was finished in a patriotic red-white-&-blue colour scheme.
The wheel openings were graced with a custom flared fender treatment and a competition-type spoiler was incorporated into the rear deck. The car was fitted with a set of white Honeycomb wheels and a unique front and rear bumper treatment was another feature. The rear fenders had special forward slanting block letters that spelled out the show car's name.
All of the special features for the car were essentially bolt on items or semi custom finishing touches designed to keep the costs of creating a show car down to a minimum level.
